Hamoji is an app for couples. Instead of a text, send your partner a hamster, and he says “love you,” “miss you” or “sorry” for you. Faster than words, warmer than an emoji.

SAY IT IN TWO TAPS Pick a hamster and what he’ll say, from “love you” and “miss you” to “I’m mad” and “sorry.” Feel like it? Dress him up and tuck in a note.

PET HIM TO ANSWER The hamster runs straight onto your partner’s screen. Petting him is the answer: a heart flies back, and you know you were heard. Pet a hamster who says “sorry” to forgive.

YOUR YEAR IN HAMSTERS Every hamster stays in “Our year,” the calendar you both share, along with how many days you’ve been together. Flip back through it a year from now and it all comes back: who missed whom, who made up first.

HAMSTERS WITH PERSONALITY Mochi, Dango, Nori, Chibi and Yuki each have a habit of their own, and a wardrobe: a beret for a date, a crown for a birthday, a balloon just because. Try anything on before you buy it.

JUST THE TWO OF YOU Hamoji isn’t social media: no feed, no likes, no one watching. You pair up with a single link: your partner opens it and takes the first hamster. No ads, no tracking. Hamoji speaks 21 languages, so each of you reads “love you” in your own.

FEELINGS ARE FREE Moods, notes, petting and your shared calendar are free and always will be, and so are Mochi, Dango, Nori, Chibi and a starter wardrobe.
