LOCA is the free neighborhood app for giving things away, asking for what you need, borrowing instead of buying, and helping the people who live near you. Nothing is for sale: no prices, no ads, just neighbors.

GIVE, ASK, BORROW, HELP • Give: pass on something you no longer need. Add a photo, post it, and a neighbor asks for it in one tap. • Ask: looking for a ladder, a stroller or moving boxes? Post what you need and people nearby see it. • Borrow: need something once? Borrow it from a neighbor and return it instead of buying it new. • Help: offer a hand or find one, from carrying a sofa to fixing a fan.

HOW IT WORKS 1. Sign up with Apple, Google or email and share roughly where you live. Your neighborhood sets itself. 2. See what people near you are giving, asking for, lending and offering, nearest first. 3. Post in under a minute: pick what you’re doing, add a photo and a few words. 4. Ask for something with one tap. The owner sees every request in one place and accepts or declines. 5. When a request is accepted, a chat opens. Message, call or video call to agree when and where. 6. Meet, hand it over, mark it done and rate each other. Ratings come from real handoffs only.

REQUESTS IN ONE PLACE Fifty people want your free sofa? Every request lands in one inbox, grouped by post and by kind: requests, asks for help, offers, offers to lend. Swipe to accept or decline, decline the rest at once, and change your mind later.

MADE FOR YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD • Posts sorted by distance, with a map of what’s around. • Search people, places and posts as you type. • Neighborhoods create themselves from where people live; pick a nearby one. • Follow neighbors and see what they post. • Everything updates live: new posts, requests, messages and ratings appear as they happen.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your exact address is never shown. Others see an approximate area and a distance, nothing more. • Messages open only once a request is accepted, so nobody can write to you out of the blue. • You choose what your profile shows. • Sign in with Apple is supported.

SAFE • Report a post, a message or a person; block anyone; remove your own content at any time. • Every account agrees to terms of use that forbid abuse. Reports are acted on within 24 hours. • Delete your account from inside the app whenever you like.

NOTHING TO BUY There are no prices on LOCA. Everything is given, lent, shared or done as a favor between neighbors. Less waste, less clutter, and you get to know the people around you.

QUESTIONS Is LOCA free? Yes. Free to download and use, with no ads and nothing for sale. What can I give away or borrow? Furniture, tools, electronics, books, kitchen things, plants, baby gear, clothes, sports equipment and more. Can people see where I live? No. Only an approximate area and a distance. Where does LOCA work? Anywhere. It was built in the Philippines, so places are named by barangay and city.
