Markview turns Markdown files into clean, readable documents, then gives you the editing and workspace tools you need when the work grows.

Open one file or a whole folder. Read without editor noise, switch into visual or Markdown editing, and move between documents with native title-bar tabs.

What you can do:

• Read Markdown with seven typefaces, three text sizes, adjustable spacing, and system, light, or dark appearance • Edit in WYSIWYG or Markdown source mode • Work with tables, tasks, links, quotes, lists, and code • Browse every Markdown file in a folder • Search filenames and document contents across a workspace • Find text inside the current document • Open files quickly by name • Print or copy a selection or the whole document • Keep several files open in native tabs • Optionally ask an existing Codex CLI or Claude Code installation to work with the current file or folder
