NED.Micro.Mobile pairs a smartphone with a NED.Micro microscope system by scanning a QR code from the NED web system and signing in. Users take a MASTER role to control objectives, movement, autofocus and live imaging, or a VIEWER role to watch the live image, review slides and chat. It is labeled for Research Use Only, with biometric lock available and image export as PNG or JPEG.

NED.Micro.Mobile connects your smartphone to your NED.Micro system.
Scan the pairing QR code displayed by the NED web system and sign in with your NED user account to add the device. Your saved NED systems show their availability and current software information.
Choose your role according to the active session and your permissions:
MASTER Control the NED remotely using the available microscope controls. Select objectives, move the system, use autofocus and explore live images. Review slide previews and share annotations with other participants.
VIEWER Watch the live microscope image, review slide previews and annotations, and communicate with participants through the shared session chat.
Save microscope images as PNG or JPEG. Exports can include device, user, objective and image information in their metadata.
Mobile access is protected by your phone’s biometric authentication when available. Features depend on the NED system, its software, the network connection and your account permissions.
