Nodveil: Screen Privacy

Nodveil is a quiet, local privacy veil for your Mac. It requires headphones with head-tracking support.

When headphones with head-tracking support detect that you have turned away, Nodveil places an opaque visual veil over your primary display. When you return to your calibrated center position, it clears so you can continue working.

Choose from calm gradients, layered visual styles, or a local image. Set the comfort angle to match how you sit, recalibrate when needed, and pause protection whenever you want.

Built for shared desks, cafés, coworking spaces, and other places where a quick glance can expose unfinished work.

Privacy by design: • Motion is processed locally on your Mac. • Nodveil does not read, capture, save, or upload your screen. • No account, subscription, ads, analytics backend, or cloud sync. • No camera or face recognition.

Nodveil is a visual privacy aid against casual shoulder-surfing. It does not replace locking your Mac, strong authentication, encryption, or other security controls.
