Pagebench: PDF Tools Offline

Pagebench is a set of PDF tools that works entirely on your iPhone. Join files, pull pages out, sign a form, shrink a scan so you can send it, or put a password on it. Nothing is uploaded, because nothing needs to be.

What it does • Merge PDFs and photos into one file, in any order. • Organise pages: drag to reorder, turn them, copy or remove them. • Split a PDF by page ranges, or into files of a few pages each. • Scan paper with the camera. The edges are found and straightened for you. • Turn photos into a PDF, on A4, US Letter or at their own size. • Shrink a PDF by making the photos inside it smaller. The text stays sharp and selectable. • Sign: draw your signature once, then drag it into place on any page. • Lock a PDF with a password (AES-256), or take the password off one you can open. • Add page numbers or a watermark to every page. • Save pages as JPEG or PNG pictures.

Your files stay on your iPhone Pagebench has no account, no server and no adverts, and it collects nothing about you or your files. It never connects to the internet, so it works the same in airplane mode. Every tool saves a new file, so your original is never changed. Files leave your iPhone only when you share them or save them somewhere yourself.

What it does not do Pagebench works on PDFs and pictures. It does not convert Word, Excel or PowerPoint files, and it does not edit the text inside a PDF.
