Pastry is a macOS clipboard history utility that stores text, links, colors, images and files you copy, and lets you search them and paste any clip back with a keyboard shortcut. It suits Mac users who often reuse snippets, links or colors. One standout feature is that history stays only on the Mac, with no account, cloud or tracking, and passwords from popular password managers are skipped.

Pastry remembers everything you copy, so you never lose a link, a snippet or a color again.

Press ⌘⇧V (or click the menu bar icon), pick a clip, and it's back on your clipboard, ready to paste with ⌘V.

EVERYTHING YOU COPY, ORGANIZED • Text, links, colors, images and files, each shown in a tile that fits what it is • Colors (HEX, RGB, HSL) appear as real swatches with their RGB values • Copied the same thing twice? Pastry moves it to the top instead of filling your history with duplicates

FIND IT INSTANTLY • Search your whole history as you type • Move with the arrow keys, press Return to copy, and never touch the mouse

PIN WHAT MATTERS • Pin clips you reuse often: they stay at the top and are never removed • Delete single clips or clear everything else in one click

MADE FOR YOUR WORKFLOW • A global shortcut you choose, ⌘⇧V by default • Three panel layouts: under the menu bar icon, a full-height side panel, or right at your mouse pointer • Set how many clips to keep, from 10 to 200 • Pause recording any time • Optional launch at login • Available in English, Spanish, French, German, Ukrainian and Polish

PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your history is stored only on your Mac. Pastry has no account, no cloud and no tracking • Passwords copied from popular password managers are skipped, as is anything an app marks as concealed or temporary • Link previews are off by default, because they contact the copied website. Turn them on in Settings if you want them • Runs in the App Sandbox

NATIVE AND LIGHTWEIGHT Built with SwiftUI for macOS 14 or later. Pastry lives quietly in your menu bar, with no Dock icon and no clutter.
