PocketPad turns your iPhone into a wireless controller for your Mac. Browse from the sofa, control a presentation while standing, or send a piece of text from your phone.
TRACKPAD Slide your finger to move the pointer. Tap to click and use gestures for right-clicking and scrolling.
AIR MOUSE Hold the control area and rotate your iPhone to move the Mac pointer. Release to pause. Requires a physical iPhone with motion sensors.
13 CUSTOMIZABLE SHORTCUTS Keep frequently used keys and key combinations close at hand. Edit each shortcut's name, key, and modifiers to suit your workflow.
SEND TEXT Type or paste text on your iPhone and send it to the currently focused input on your Mac.
HOLD TO SEND VOICE Hold to stream your iPhone microphone audio to your Mac, then release to end. Use the PocketPad Microphone virtual input with your preferred voice input software. PocketPad does not transcribe speech itself; recognition and internet requirements depend on that software.
QR PAIRING AND MAC SWITCHING Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi and scan the pairing QR code shown on your Mac. Pair multiple Macs and select the one you want to control on your iPhone.
LOCAL CONNECTION No PocketPad account is required. Control commands and audio are sent through an encrypted local network connection.
Requirements: • iPhone running iOS 17 or later. • Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later, with the PocketPad Mac companion installed. • Both devices on the same Wi-Fi, with local network access and Mac Accessibility permission enabled. • Camera permission for QR pairing; microphone permission for voice streaming. • Voice streaming also requires configuring the Mac virtual microphone, voice input software, and matching shortcuts.
