Share files directly with nearby devices from your Mac. RayDrop brings local-network discovery and clear transfer controls together—without requiring a RayDrop account.

FILES, FOLDERS AND TEXT Choose files or a folder, drag files into RayDrop, or send a text note. Find a nearby RayDrop device automatically or connect using its address and port.

CONFIRM THE RECEIVING DEVICE Check the device identity on first contact. Integrity verification checks received data against the source.

CLEAR STATUS AND RECOVERY Follow sending and receiving progress in the app. If a supported transfer is interrupted, restore the connection and follow the recovery instructions. Resuming depends on both devices being available and the original files remaining accessible and unchanged.

CHOOSE YOUR DESTINATION Use the system folder picker to allow RayDrop to save received files to your chosen location. Manage device trust and receive preferences from the app.

LOCAL-NETWORK SHARING Both devices need RayDrop and access to the same local network. Allow Local Network access when prompted. Guest networks, VPNs, router isolation or firewall rules can prevent communication. When sharing with an iPhone or iPad, keep RayDrop open on that device during the transfer.
