En bref

Readscribe lets readers photograph a book page, crop a passage, and file it as a quote with a personal reflection, grouped under its book and page number. It suits readers who want to keep and organize passages from what they read, and who may share notes with people they follow or keep them private. A notable feature is that each note can be set to Shared or Private at any time.

À propos

KEEP WHAT YOU READ • Photograph a page and crop the passage. The text updates as you drag. • Snap the box to whole lines, a whole paragraph, or tightly around the words. • Add a reflection in your own words. • Every quote is filed under its book, with the page it came from.

YOUR LIBRARY • A shelf of the books you're reading, with their real covers. • Group books into collections. • Mark books as read. • Your latest notes, always at hand.

READ WITH OTHERS • Follow readers and see the lines they're keeping. • Like, reply to and save the notes you love. • Open any book to see which readers you follow have kept lines from it. • Search for books and for readers.

SHARED, OR JUST FOR YOU • Every note is Shared or Private, and you can change it any time. • Choose whether new notes start out shared or private. • Private notes stay on your shelf. No one else sees them.

A KEEPING STREAK Your profile counts the days in a row you've kept a note, and how many you've kept in the last two weeks.

Made to feel like a well-loved book: paper in light mode, lamplight in dark mode.
