Scan & Go turns a crate of second-hand vinyl into listings in your own shop, one record at a time.

Photograph the sleeve. The app works out which pressing you are holding, suggests a price based on what the record actually sells for, and puts it online under your own shop name. What used to be typing is now a photo.

HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the crate you are working from. 2. Photograph the front of the sleeve. Add the back and the label if you want a surer match. 3. Check the pressing the app found, set the condition of record and sleeve, and adjust the price if you disagree. 4. Publish. Print a price label straight from the app if you use them.

KNOW WHAT YOU ARE HOLDING Pressings matter, and two records with the same cover are often not the same record. The app shows you the catalogue number, the year, the country and the matrix codes of each candidate, so you can check the dead wax yourself and pick the right pressing instead of guessing.

WHEN YOU ALREADY KNOW THE RECORD Some records you recognise on sight. Search for it by name or catalogue number, pick the pressing, take one photo of the copy in your hands, and it is listed. Your own photo is always required, because a buyer is buying your copy, not a stock image.

PRICING YOU CAN ARGUE WITH Every suggested price comes with what comparable copies have sold for and what they are listed at now, so you can see where the number comes from before you accept it.

BUILT FOR A SHOP FLOOR - Works without a signal.
