En bref
SawYield is a productivity app that calculates board feet, area and cost for lumber, with a built-in allowance for cutting waste. It suits woodworkers and builders who need to estimate material and price per project. One thing that stands out is that it can scan a PDF drawing or photo and fill in the dimensions for review in a cut list.

SawYield calculates board feet, area and cost for your lumber, with a cutting-waste allowance built in. Scan a drawing or photo and it fills in the dimensions for you.
• Board feet and cost: enter length, width and thickness in inches and feet, fractions included (3/4, 1-1/2), and get board feet and total cost. • Scan drawings and photos: import a PDF drawing or a photo, and the dimensions land in your cut list for review. • Materials and pricing: price each species by the board foot, square foot, linear foot or piece. • Waste allowance: add a percentage for cutting waste, and it's included in both volume and cost. • Projects: keep a separate cut list per project, with one shared price list. • Nine languages, light and dark themes.
Free, no sign-up needed. Your projects stay on your device.
