A focused screenplay writer for Mac. You type — Scriptfox formats it as a script while you write, in plain Fountain files that belong to you.

WRITE • Live screenplay formatting: scene headings, action, characters, parentheticals, dialogue, transitions • Smart keys: Tab on an empty line for a character, Tab again to complete a name, Tab under a name for a parenthetical; Enter starts the next paragraph • Scene headings turn to capitals automatically; ⌘⇧H inserts a new one • Sections, synopses and notes to plan your story — they never print • *Italic*, **bold** and _underline_

NAVIGATE • Scene navigator with numbers, synopses, act sections and a filter • Character panel: speeches, scenes and words per character — click to jump to the next speech • Page count and estimated runtime (one page ≈ one minute), interior/exterior and time-of-day breakdown

PRINT & SHARE • Read view with industry-standard pagination: Courier 12 pt, A4 or US Letter, (MORE)/(CONT'D) breaks, optional scene numbers • Export to PDF (with title page) and Final Draft (.fdx); print directly • Title page editor

YOUR FILES • Standard .fountain plain text — open it in any Fountain app, keep it in iCloud Drive, put it in Git • No account, no subscription, no tracking. The app has no network access at all.

English and Hungarian interface, light and dark mode. Hungarian scene headings (BELSŐ. / KÜLSŐ.) are supported too.
