Silex makes every keystroke on your Mac sound like a real mechanical keyboard.

It lives quietly in your menu bar and plays a satisfying sound each time you press a key — with no lag, no windows and nothing to set up.

SOUNDS THAT FEEL REAL Every key has its own voice, just like on a real keyboard. Type fast and the sound softens; slow down and each key lands with a full, deep thock. Space, Return, Delete and Shift sound bigger, and releasing a key has its own quieter click.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN Silex needs Input Monitoring permission only to know that a key was pressed. It never records, stores or sends what you type. The app makes no network connections and collects no data.
