À propos

A run tracker for iPhone, even better with Apple Watch, with one feature nobody else has: it races you against yourself.

Run with just your phone and it records GPS, splits and voice on its own. Add an Apple Watch and the two stay in step for the whole run: heart rate on your wrist, pause and end from either, start from wherever you are. Bring in years of history, and SoleRunner finds the routes you run, ranks every run on them, and lets you race any of them, with the gap called out mile by mile.

FOUNDING RUNNERS RUN FREE Download SoleRunner by December 31, 2026 and SoleRunner Pro is free for you, forever. Every feature, no subscription. A thank-you for being here from the start.

RACE YOURSELF, FOR REAL Pick any past run on today's route and go. The watch shows the gap the whole way: 12 seconds up at the bridge, 5 down at the hill, a voice in your ear every quarter mile. Cross the line and you'll know exactly where today stands: #7 of 650 on this route, or a new fastest.

YOUR ROUTES, FOUND FOR YOU Most runs happen on the same few loops. SoleRunner recognizes them from your GPS trace, no drawing or naming required, and describes each one in plain words: "Starting at Piedmont Ave in Midtown, out and back to Ansley Park." Open a route and see every time you've run it, best first.

YOUR WHOLE HISTORY IN A TAP Switching apps? Import your Runkeeper or Strava export, GPX, TCX or FIT files from Nike Run Club and others, or pull from Apple Health. Routes, heart rate and splits come along, with no duplicates, ready to race in about a minute.

FORGOTTEN THE WAY? FOLLOW THE GHOST Racing a route from years ago? The ghost's path is drawn under your trail on iPhone and Watch. Drift off it and you'll hear "off course, the route is 80 yards to your left".

PHONE AND WATCH, ONE RUN Start from the phone and it records with its own GPS and voice while the watch shows the numbers and feeds back heart rate. Start from the wrist and the watch records on its own. Pause, resume and end from either. Every run lands in Apple Health.

FRIENDS WHO ACTUALLY SHOW UP Swap a six-character code with a running buddy. Get a tap when they start a run, watch it live on a map, and see their recent runs. No feed, no strangers.

A VOICE WORTH LISTENING TO Natural voices announce your splits, your race gap and your route cues through the watch or the phone. Choose the one you like.

BRAG WITH ONE PICTURE Every run becomes a shareable card, or your own photo with the stats and route on it: distance, pace, splits, your rank on the route, and a trophy for a new fastest 5K, 10K, half or marathon.

RECORDS, GOALS AND TRENDS Fastest mile to marathon. Distance, run-count, time or pace goals for any day, week, month or year. Year-over-year distance, pace over time and your streak.
