Sosto: Save the food is a food-drink app where local bakeries, cafés, restaurants and shops sell surprise bags of unsold food at about a third of the usual price. Users browse nearby bags on a list or map, reserve one, then pick it up and pay at the shop. The app also tracks money saved, meals rescued and CO₂ avoided.

Sosto helps you save good food and money. Local bakeries, cafés, restaurants and shops put together surprise bags with food they didn't sell today, at around a third of the price.

HOW IT WORKS • Discover: see surprise bags from shops near you, on a list or on the map. • Reserve: pick a bag and reserve it in the app. The shop confirms your reservation. • Pick up and pay at the shop: show your code during the pickup window and pay there. No card needed in the app.

WHAT YOU GET Bread, pastries, sweets, cooked meals, whatever was left over today, still fresh. Every bag is a surprise, so it's different every time.
