Tradlow

Tradlow is an application for tracking financial records, utilizing a "track-based" visual approach that presents transactions through a compact layout and curved, arc-like displays of monetary amounts. The home screen provides a summary of income, expenses, account balances, held funds, and pending refunds. The transaction entry screen supports income, expenses, and pre-authorizations, with workflows that allow for subsequent partial settlements, the release of holds, and the processing of refunds. The accounts page displays the ledger balance, held amounts, and an "available balance" calculated locally. The statistics page offers various visualizations—including bar, pie, line, area, and waterfall charts—with support for drilling down into individual transaction records. At its core, the system ensures data consistency through integer-based accounting, hierarchical status tracking, and relational constraints; it displays the potential impact of any changes and prevents conflicts before they occur. Users can import local files and export complete backups, with all data updates requiring explicit user confirmation. Any "expected dates" serve only as reminders for verification; they do not trigger the automatic release of funds or the confirmation of refunds.
