Translato is a translation editor for Mac with local projects, translation memory and document tools.
Translate manually, reuse previous translations and work with supported text and document formats. OCR helps extract text from scans. Keep your original documents and review exported files before delivery.
Translato Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks machine and batch translation, DOCX/PDF and translated-scan export, and TMX import/export. Basic formats, manual translation and translation memory remain free.
Pro does not include third-party API credits. External translation services may require your own API keys and bill your provider account separately. Apple Translation requires supported languages and may download language models.
Projects are stored locally on your Mac. When you choose an external translation provider, the requested text is sent to that service. No Translato account is required.
