Trimlet trims audio, changes its speed and pulls the sound out of videos. That's it, and it's free — no ads, no account, no subscription, no "pro" version waiting behind a paywall.
Open a voice memo, a song, a podcast or the sound from a video. Drag the selection to keep the part you want, then speed it up or slow it down. Keep pitch is on, so faster doesn't mean chipmunks.
What you can do • Trim any audio file to the exact tenth of a second • Change speed from 0.5× to 2×, with or without keeping pitch • Fade in and fade out • Pull the sound out of any video — screen recordings, clips from Photos, videos people send you — and save it as M4A, WAV or MP3 • Save as M4A, WAV or MP3 to Files, or share it anywhere • Make a ringtone: keep it to 30 seconds and Trimlet tells you it fits, then use Share › Use as Ringtone
Works where your audio is Tap Share in Voice Memos, Photos, Files or a messaging app and choose Trimlet. Trim it there and get back to what you were doing.
Private by design Everything happens on your iPhone. Trimlet collects no data, has no tracking and needs no sign-in.
