Make Safari feel cleaner with AdBlockX. Filter ads and trackers, add rules for Chinese websites, and turn filtering off for individual sites. No account required.

CHOOSE YOUR FILTERS Block matching advertising requests and hide supported ad elements. Turn tracking protection on separately, and add the Chinese supplement for more coverage on Chinese websites.

CONTROL FILTERING FROM SAFARI Open the AdBlockX toolbar panel to see the current site's filtering status. Turn filtering off or back on for that site, or pause all filtering when you need to. Reload the page after making a change.

KEEP WEBSITE EXCEPTIONS ORGANIZED Add, search and remove website exceptions in the app. Choose whether an exception includes subdomains. Your exceptions and filter preferences stay saved when you pause filtering.

ON-DEVICE FILTERING Safari applies the bundled rules on your device. AdBlockX does not upload your browsing history. Rule updates arrive with app updates.

EASY TO GET STARTED Choose your filters, enable both AdBlockX extensions in Safari Settings, and reload your open pages. Built-in setup instructions and diagnostics help you check the configuration.

Requires Safari on macOS 14 or later. The Chinese supplement requires ad filtering to be enabled. Filtering coverage varies by website and the included rules.
