Afetilu: caregiver journal

Afetilu is a journal for family members and caregivers of autistic people. In a few taps, you note what you observed day to day and, when it is time for the appointment, bring a descriptive summary to the therapist, psychologist or doctor who supports the person.

WHAT YOU CAN LOG • Meals and drinks • Sleep and naps • Perceived pain and discomfort • Feelings and behavior, including difficult episodes, with duration, intensity and what helped • Bathing and hygiene • Bowel movements → • Pee and poop • Activities, achievements and positive moments • Changes in routine, such as a new school, a trip or holidays

Each log keeps the time it happened (exact, approximate or just the time of day) and the source of the information: what you saw, what someone told you or what you suspect.

AN HONEST TIMELINE A day with no logs shows as “no information”, never as “no crises”. Only you mark a day as crisis-free. Corrections are kept in the history.

SUMMARY FOR APPOINTMENTS Choose the period and categories and create a PDF on the device itself, with the day-by-day view, episodes, positive moments and the questions you want to ask. The summary only describes what was logged, without interpreting it.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU • No account, no server and no sync: everything stays on the device, in an encrypted database. • No ads, no analytics and no tracking. • Backups only when you want them, encrypted with your own password. • Deleting is for real: one person or everything, at any time.

ACCESSIBLE AND CALM Large buttons, screen reader labels and a discreet mascot that reacts to logs. Prefer no animation? There is a simple mode and reduced motion. Available in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
