Ambient Acid Radio

Ambient Acid Radio is where sounds meet. Rain on a tent roof, a creek in the woods, a flute far away, a low drone. Layer up to ten of them into a scene, set each one's level and let it play for as long as you like.

Every included sound loops without an audible seam. No account, no ads, no internet needed.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

243 sounds in 21 albums, from rain, rivers and the sea to birds, crickets, fire, flutes and deep drones. 94 ready made scenes in lanes such as Sleep, Focus, Morning, Night, Music, Weather, Ocean, Forest and Space. Rename them, rebuild them or delete them, just like your own.

SCENES YOU MIX YOURSELF

Every sound in a scene has its own slider. On the tracks, a sound can come in later and fade out again while the others keep running, so a scene rarely sounds the same twice. Ambient Acid Radio evens out the volumes first, so the same slider position means the same loudness.

FM, YOUR OWN STATION

FM plays one piece after another from your library: your scenes, and new mixes it builds from single sounds. Every change is a slow crossfade. Four sliders set the mood, the source, how often it changes and how much music it plays. Thumbs up and down shape what comes next, the moon makes it calmer as you drift off, and Start Radio plays more of a sound or scene you like. 22 programs with chapters are included.

YOUR OWN SOUNDS

Bring in WAV, MP3, M4A, AIFF, CAF, FLAC or AAC files from the Files app. Ambient Acid Radio can prepare a recording for endless playback: it finds the best place to loop and softens the seam, with the loop engine from myLoop. Or it takes the file just as it is.

FIND WHAT FITS

Ambient Acid Radio listens to every sound and gives it a profile: type of sound, character, tone. Search the way you remember, or explore the Sound Map, where every sound sits between tonal and noisy, calm and eventful.
