Auspice: Lunar Calendar Dates

Auspice is a quiet lunar-calendar utility for people who keep track of dates that matter.

It computes the Chinese lunar calendar, the 24 solar terms, and stem-branch dates entirely on your device, then keeps your birthdays, anniversaries, and remembrance dates reliable across the Gregorian and lunar systems - including reminders for lunar dates that shift every year.

IMPORTANT DAYS THAT DO NOT DRIFT - Save birthdays, anniversaries, and remembrance dates in either the Gregorian or the lunar calendar - Lunar dates are recomputed every year, so a lunar birthday never lands on the wrong day - Import birthdays from Contacts, and optionally write corrections back - Export any important day to your system Calendar as a dedicated calendar - Schedule notifications, or stronger alarm-style reminders on supported devices - Sync everything across your Apple devices with iCloud

LUNAR CALENDAR AND SOLAR TERMS - Gregorian and lunar dates, stem-branch notation, festivals, and the animal year - The 24 solar terms with exact times, plus what is coming next - The twelve traditional two-hour periods for the current day - A month grid that shows lunar days, festivals, and solar terms at a glance

DATE PLANNING - Look ahead for dates that suit a specific occasion such as moving or a ceremony - Record birth details to view traditional stem-branch and animal-sign references - Compare two dates for traditional wedding-date planning

OFFLINE AND CALCULATED, NOT DOWNLOADED - Calendar, solar-term, and stem-branch results are computed on device from astronomical algorithms, not fetched from a server - The calendar, solar terms, important days, reminders, and Calendar export all work with no network connection - No ads, no account, and no sign-up

KEEPSAKE CARDS - Turn a meaningful date into a collectible foil or holographic card - Keep them in a personal archive you can revisit

The app also includes an optional section of traditional Chinese cultural readings - I Ching hexagram texts and fortune-stick verses - for readers interested in the classical source material. It is a secondary part of the app, not its purpose.

Some AI-assisted readings and online features require an auto-renewable membership. The price, billing period, and trial eligibility are shown before purchase. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings, and restore purchases in the app.

Traditional calendar notes and classical cultural texts are provided for cultural and entertainment purposes only. They are not medical, legal, financial, or relationship advice, and should not be the sole basis for important decisions.
