CarWave – Radio & Podcasts

CarWave brings the world's radio stations and podcasts to your iPhone and your car — simple to use while driving, beautiful at home.

MADE FOR THE CAR • CarPlay with large logos, your recent stations first and favorites one tap away. • "Hey Siri, play Jazz FM on CarWave" — hands on the wheel. • Next and previous move through the list you started from.

PODCASTS • Search, follow and discover the top podcasts in your country. • Pick up where you left off — on iPhone, in CarPlay and on Apple Watch. • Skip back 15 s, forward 30 s, 1.5× and 2× speed, sleep timer. • Download episodes and listen offline; played episodes clear themselves. • "Hey Siri, play The Daily on CarWave" — podcasts by voice, too.

WHAT'S PLAYING? • Identify songs even when the station doesn't send the title. • Recently played songs, collected for you. • See the song title, find it in Apple Music, Spotify or YouTube Music.

FIND SOMETHING GREAT • Stations from every country, with genres like pop, rock, jazz, news, classical and more. • Stations near you, based on your location. • Search by name — even if you don't spell it exactly. • Add any stream yourself with its address.

LISTEN LIKE NEVER BEFORE • Rewind live radio up to 90 seconds — missed the news or the name of a song? Go back. • Pause and continue exactly where you stopped. • Automatic reconnect: drive through a tunnel, the stream comes back by itself.

MORE • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, Control Center button. • Apple Watch app to control playback and pick favorites. • Favorites synced with iCloud. • Share stations and podcasts with a link that opens straight in CarWave. • Sleep timer, AirPlay and Bluetooth output. • Mobile data saving is on automatically; see your cellular usage for the last 14 days. • Available in 10 languages.

CarWave uses the open Radio Browser directory. Stations are operated by their broadcasters; availability and content may change.
