Comic Weather

Comic Weather is a weather app for iPhone that turns your forecast into a comic book page. The sky over you is painted as the opening panel, a narrator sums up the day in a yellow caption box, and the hours and days ahead follow in panels below.

Under the ink is a real forecast from Apple Weather: current conditions, feels-like temperature, the next 24 hours, 10 days ahead and official severe weather alerts.

TWO COMIC SKINS, BOTH INCLUDED • Four-Color: the newsstand look. Coarse Ben-Day dots, bold primary colors and heavy black ink. • Midnight City: gothic noir. Near-black pages, amber lamplight on wet stone, spires in the rain. A skin reprints the whole app, not just its colors: the panels, the lettering, the hourly strip, the 10-day page, Settings and every widget.

96 PAINTED SCENES Twelve kinds of weather are each painted for dawn, day, dusk and night, in both skins: clear skies, clouds, fog, rain, snow, wintry mix, storms, wind, heat, bitter cold, severe weather and dust. Every scene moves a little. Rain falls, fog drifts, lightning cracks. With Reduce Motion or Low Power Mode on, the scenes hold still.

PICK YOUR NARRATOR Three voices write the captions and the notifications: • Deadpan: "Fog. The world is on low resolution." • Chipper: "Fog! The city is playing hide and seek." • Dramatic: "Fog swallows the city whole. Proceed with care." Same forecast, different attitude.

THE FORECAST, PANEL BY PANEL • Current conditions, feels-like temperature and today's high and low • The next 24 hours, hour by hour, with the chance of rain • A 10-day forecast. Tap any day for rain totals, wind, UV index, sunrise, sunset and moon phase • Severe weather alerts from official agencies, where available, printed at the top of the page • Save several places and swipe between them. Use your location or search for any city • Metric or imperial units, or match your iPhone

NOTIFICATIONS ONLY WHEN THE FORECAST CALLS FOR THEM • A morning briefing at the time you choose • Rain alerts before it starts and before it stops • Evening planning tips: "Tomorrow's sunny — make a plan" • Severe weather alerts • A heads-up when tomorrow brings heat or frost Your iPhone works them out from the forecast it already downloaded for your main place. Switch each kind on or off.

WIDGETS FOR THE HOME SCREEN AND LOCK SCREEN • Comic Panel (small): today's weather in one panel • Comic Strip (medium): now, then the next six hours • Weather Glyph (Lock Screen): condition and temperature in circular, rectangular and inline sizes Each widget follows your main place or a city you pick, printed in your skin.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No ads. No tracking. No analytics. Comic Weather asks only for your approximate ut 100 meters, and sends it straight from your iPhone to the weather service to fetch yourforecast. There is no Comic Weather server, and everything else stays on your device. Rather not share your location? Search for cities by name.

BUILT FOR VOICEOVER AND LARGE TEXT VoiceOver reads every panel, and the "Read plainly" action gives you the forecast without thDynamic Type up to the largest accessibility sizes.

WORKS OFFLINE No signal? Your last forecast stays on the page, marked with how old it is.
