Cornerstone Jail

Cornerstone Jail requires an agency-issued account. If your agency subscribes to Cornerstone Jail, your Cornerstone administrator provisions your account and sets your sign-in PIN. If your agency doesn't subscribe, this app won't be useful — please talk to your administrator before installing.

Cornerstone Jail is the mobile companion to Cornerstone's desktop jail management system used by county corrections agencies. It puts the everyday workflows an officer runs on shift — count, rounds, incident reports, logbook entries, property receipts, screenings, signatures, mugshots, injury photos — on the phone in the officer's pocket, so the housing floor stops being a place work has to be paused and remembered until they get back to a workstation.

SIGN-IN • Scan the QR code shown in your Cornerstone Jail desktop tab and the app signs you in with the same session, no typing. • Or tap "Sign in with email and PIN" and enter your work email and the PIN your administrator set for you. • Turn on Face ID unlock from the Profile screen and future starts of the app skip the sign-in screen entirely. Face ID data is processed by the operating system and never leaves your device.

WORK ON THE FLOOR • Count — record housing counts against the units your post covers. • Rounds — log rounds passes, elevated-frequency where required. • Incident Reports — full incident narrative with attached injury photos. • Logbook — shift log entries with time, actor, and post stamped in. • Property — property receipts with on-glass signatures collected from inmates during intake and release. • Screenings — medical, mental-health, and PREA screening intake answers. • Classification — record classification decisions from a phone during intake. • Housing Moves — acknowledge pending moves for your assigned units. • Conduct Notices, Hearings, Inspections — the paper workflows that used to live only on the desktop.

ID AT A TAP • Wristband scan — point the camera at any Cornerstone wristband QR or label QR; the app resolves the inmate and offers Move / Rounds / Note / Incident in one place. • Visitor ID scan — capture the PDF417 barcode on a driver's license or state ID during visitor check-in. • Take Mugshot — capture front and side mugshots on the phone; identify the inmate by wristband, roster search, or a fresh intake.

WORKS OFFLINE Every write is queued in local storage first, then submitted. If you save something in a dead-signal spot on a pod, the entry is durably recorded on the device and syncs back to the agency's Cornerstone Jail server as soon as the phone gets a signal again. The offline queue survives app relaunches and phone reboots.

NO ACCOUNT CREATION IN THE APP Cornerstone Jail accounts are issued by your agency's Cornerstone administrator, not through the app. To request account deletion, use the "Request account deletion" option on the Profile screen, or email support@cornerstonetech.online.

PRIVACY Cornerstone Jail does not use advertising, does not track users across other apps or websites, and does not sell or share data with third parties.
