Get the most out of your vacation days: Day-Off Planner knows the public holidays of your region, and school holidays where they are published, and shows you which days to take off to turn them into the longest possible breaks.

Choose from three plans: • Often, short: many long weekends across the year • Big trip + bridges: one long break (10, 14 or 21 days, your choice), the rest as bridge days • Long trips: every break at least nine days in a row

Each plan shows how many days off you get and what each day you take is worth.

THOUGHT THROUGH • Public holidays for more than 30 countries, in Germany down to local holidays • School holidays for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and more, where published • Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve as half or whole days off • Leftover days from last year are planned before March 31 • Special days from your employer, flextime and overtime • Vacation you already booked and company closures are respected • Turn off single holidays that do not apply to you • Off together: plan for two, even with different regions, countries and work days • Live and work in different regions: public holidays from work, school holidays from home • Shift work and rotating weeks: up to four weeks in a cycle • Time off only during school holidays, or outside them when travel is cheaper, for two separately for each person • For teachers: school holidays are days off, with duty days at the end of the summer break • Adjust suggestions: reject a break or block days, the plan recalculates • Fixed dates like birthdays or anniversaries, every year: take off, already off or blocked, all in one overview • Plan up to two years ahead, with a note when a country has no data yet

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU No sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Your entries stay on your device and are included in the backup of your device, which you manage yourself. Where your device offers it, the app also syncs your plans, settings and the names of your dates with the cloud storage of the account signed in on this device, so they come back after a reinstall or on a second device; that is your own storage, and we receive nothing from it. For holidays the app only sends country, region and year to the OpenHolidays API; the service technically sees your IP address.
