Financial Calculator: Yieldra

Yieldra is a financial calculator for iPhone that keeps all five time value of money registers on screen: N, I/Y, PV, PMT and FV sit above the keys, so a wrong entry shows before you press CPT.

TIME VALUE OF MONEY • Exam-style key layout: N, I/Y, PV, PMT, FV, CPT and 2ND, plus the standard math keys • P/Y and C/Y set separately, BGN or END payments, presets for monthly, quarterly, semiannual and yearly • The sign convention is on screen: money in is +, money out is − • Solve for any of the five: payment, rate, number of periods, present or future value

WORKSHEETS • Cash flow: CF0 and grouped flows with repeat counts; NPV, IRR, NFV, payback and discounted payback, with an NPV profile chart • Amortization: balance, principal and interest for any payment range, the full schedule, total interest and a yearly chart • Bond: price from yield or yield from price, accrued interest, price with accrued and modified duration, actual/actual or 30/360 • Depreciation: straight line, sum of the years' digits, declining balance, and declining balance switching to straight line • Interest conversion between nominal and effective rates, breakeven and percent change
