FTMS Sim

Stop hunting for a rower, bike or treadmill every time you test your fitness app. FTMS Sim turns your iPhone or iPad into a Bluetooth LE fitness machine that streams spec-correct data, so you spend your time building features instead of decoding byte layouts, borrowing gym equipment or writing your own fake peripheral.

Pick a machine, press start and connect from your app or a Web Bluetooth page. FTMS Sim advertises the Fitness Machine Service (0x1826) and sends data once per second, encoded exactly as the Bluetooth specification describes: correct flags, field order, resolutions and little-endian bytes.

MACHINES • Rower and ski: stroke rate, stroke count, distance, pace, power, energy, heart rate, elapsed time • Indoor bike: speed, cadence, distance, resistance, power, energy, heart rate, elapsed time • Treadmill: speed, distance, incline and ramp angle, elevation gain, energy, power, heart rate, elapsed time • Cross trainer, step climber and stair climber: step rate, steps, floors, elevation, power, energy, heart rate

SMART TRAINER • Accepts ERG (target power), target resistance and simulation commands (grade, wind, rolling and wind resistance) through the FTMS Control Point • Follows the request-control handshake and sends Fitness Machine Status updates, like real hardware • Road physics turn power and grade into realistic speed

REALISTIC DATA • Sliders for rate, cadence, power, speed, incline, resistance and heart rate • Distance, strokes, steps and energy accumulate over time • Optional noise makes values wander like a real machine • Pause drops live values to zero while totals hold

MORE PROTOCOLS • Heart Rate service (0x180D) • Cycling Power (0x1818) and Cycling Speed and Cadence (0x1816) with crank and wheel revolution data • Running Speed and Cadence footpod (0x1814) • Proprietary erg monitor protocol with status, stroke data, force curves, splits and workout summaries • Smart pulley roller ASCII protocol with heartbeat handling

FOR DEVELOPERS • Live hex view of the packet being sent • Event log of subscriptions, commands and writes from your app • Export the full session log, with every packet sent and received, as a text file • Custom advertised device name • Screen stays awake while running
