Human Bean is a digital stamp card for customers of the independent coffee shop Human Bean at McFaddens. Each drink ordered earns a stamp, and after nine stamps a free regular hot drink is unlocked. Stamps are stored by the shop rather than on the phone, so a new device or reinstall keeps them.

HOW IT WORKS • Order your coffee, show your code, and the barista scans it. One stamp per drink. • Collect nine and the next one is on us: any regular hot drink, whenever suits. • Your card is kept by the shop, not by the phone. A new phone or a reinstall does not lose a single stamp.
WHAT'S IN THE APP • Your card, with your progress at a glance and a code that is ready in one tap. • A spoken code for when the camera is not playing along. • Your free drink, waiting on the card until you use it. • Activity: every stamp and every free drink, with where and when. • A nudge when a free drink is ready or about to expire — only if you ask for it, and only ever about your own card.
YOUR DATA We keep your name, your email address and your stamps. Your birthday is optional, and we only keep the day and the month. Download everything, or delete your account, from the Profile tab at any time.
