Kairos Verse: Prayer Alarm

Di Juan Carlos Pazos · Stile di vitaPerché ce lo aspettiamo: The alarm-based prayer reminder is a clever twist on devotional apps, and the description explains it clearly.
In breve
Kairos Verse: Prayer Alarm is a lifestyle app that uses iPhone alarms, which ring even on silent, to prompt daily prayer and Bible reading. Each alarm opens a daily verse and devotional, with a journal and streaks to track the habit. Its standout feature is that alarms stay on screen until you respond, rather than being dismissed like notifications.

Your moment with God, every day.
Other apps remind you to pray with a notification, and a notification gets swiped away and forgotten. Kairos Verse uses your iPhone's alarms instead: they ring even in Silent mode, fill your screen, and wait until you respond. When you stop the alarm, Kairos Verse opens with today's verse and a devotional written just for you.
A notification is easy to ignore. An alarm isn't.
PRAYER ALARMS, NOT NOTIFICATIONS • Real iPhone alarms, just like your wake-up alarm, for devotion, prayer, Bible reading, or gratitude. • They ring even when your iPhone is on silent. • They fill your Lock Screen and show in the Dynamic Island and on your Apple Watch. • They wait for you: stop the alarm, or snooze it for 9 minutes. • Stop it and Kairos Verse opens, so the reminder becomes prayer. • Set them once or on the days of the week you choose. They're separate from your Clock app alarms.
A VERSE FOR EVERY DAY 366 hand-picked passages, one for each date on the calendar, so everyone reads the same verse on the same day. Perfect for families, small groups, and churches. Save the verses that speak to you with a heart.
A DEVOTIONAL WRITTEN FOR YOU With Apple Intelligence, Kairos Verse writes a complete devotional on your device: context, analysis, application, reflection questions, a guided prayer, and one action for the day, shaped by your goals and topics. The Bible text is always quoted unchanged. On devices without Apple Intelligence, a built-in devotional is included for every verse.
A JOURNAL TO WRITE WITH GOD Guided space for your reflection, gratitude, personal prayer, and mood. Look back on past entries in a calendar and see how God has been faithful.
PROGRESS AND STREAKS Finish the devotional and your journal to complete the day. Your streak helps the habit grow, one day at a time.
GO DEEPER WITH STUDY A main study verse plus suggestions based on the topics that matter to you, with study plans to keep growing.
MADE PERSONAL FROM THE START A short welcome asks what you want to strengthen first (waking with purpose, praying consistently, reading daily, building a habit, or finding peace in hard moments), when you like to pray, and the topics that matter to you: peace, faith, wisdom, gratitude, anxiety, purpose, discipline, or family.
WIDGETS AND iCLOUD Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets keep today's verse one glance away. Your journal, favorites, progress, and alarms sync through your private iCloud.
YOUR PRAYERS STAY YOURS • Devotionals are written on your iPhone. Your goals and reflections are never sent to a server. • No account, no ads, no tracking.
