Kasaneru - Career

Your career is made of experiences — and a week later, the details are gone.

Kasaneru is a chat that turns what happened today into a story you can tell: in an interview, a performance review, a pitch.

TALK IT THROUGH Type a few lines about something that happened at work or in school. The AI asks the questions a good interviewer would, then shapes the conversation into an episode — a titled, tagged record of the experience.

ONE EXPERIENCE, FIVE FRAMEWORKS Every episode is kept in five formats — STAR-L, XYZ, PREP, CAR and SBI — so you can pick the telling that fits the moment: a resume, an interview, or a quick answer in a meeting.

BRING YOUR PAST WITH YOU Import an existing resume (PDF, text or RTF) and the AI breaks it into individual episodes for you to review and keep. Years of experience become usable material in minutes. Episodes you keep from an import draw from the same weekly sessions as chat.

ALL YOU'VE STACKED UP, ONE RESUME Pick episodes right in the chat and the AI shapes them into a resume PDF — students get a personal profile built around their key experiences instead. Ask for edits in plain language ("push the results further forward"), then share or save the result. Markdown export is included.

KEEP GOING A home screen widget renders a miniature city that grows with every episode you record.

WHERE YOUR RECORDS LIVE IS YOUR CALL - Episodes and chat history are stored on your device, encrypted in the iOS Keychain. To carry them across devices or survive a phone upgrade, turn on sync to your own iCloud in Settings (off by default). Either way, there is no user-data database on Kasaneru's servers. - No account. No sign-in screen, no email address, no password. - Only the conversation content needed to generate a reply is sent to the AI. Names and contact details are masked on-device before sending and restored in the reply, on every plan. - Optional app lock using Face ID or your device passcode.

PLANS Free: 5 sessions a week, with one resume import and three refinements to try. A session is the conversation that produces one episode. Standard and Pro (subscription): more sessions, resume PDF, Markdown export and AI editing.

With sync left off, changing phones or deleting the app removes your records — turn on iCloud sync, or export anything you want to keep.
