Measure land area, distance and perimeter, and keep your measurements organized by project. Trace a plot on the map or record a path with GPS, then save the results to review and edit later.

MEASURE ON THE MAP OR IN THE FIELD • Tap points or draw on the map to trace fields, plots, gardens and routes. • Record a path with GPS as you move. • Measure irregular areas, distances and perimeters, draw circles and mark important locations. • Adjust points, check individual segments and use undo and redo as you work. • View results in acres, hectares, square feet, square meters and other metric, imperial and nautical units.

KEEP THE WHOLE PROJECT TOGETHER Organize related measurements as layers in a project. Keep a field outline, a fence line and location markers together, then name, save and reopen the project when you need it. Switch map views, including satellite imagery, to see the place you are measuring.

Use Land Ruler to check field and pasture sizes, plan fencing and landscaping, and organize measurements for property or construction projects.

TAKE YOUR RESULTS FURTHER Import and export KML, GPX and CSV files for compatible mapping tools and spreadsheets. Share a measurement with a map image and summary, or export a project backup for later use.
