READ DUTCH, SENTENCE BY SENTENCE • English under every Dutch sentence, in its own colour. Hide it for one sentence when you want to test yourself. • Tap a word: you hear it, and see de or het, the meaning, the plural and verb forms. • Play a sentence and watch the words light up as they are spoken. Slow it down to 0.5x or 0.75x. • Scan a page of any Dutch book with your camera and read it the same way.
FLASHCARDS THAT REMEMBER WHERE YOU MET THE WORD • Save a word with one tap. Review it later inside its original sentence. • Spaced repetition: words you know come back later, words you miss come back tomorrow. • A dictionary of over 70,000 Dutch words works offline.
SAY IT OUT LOUD • Practise speaking any sentence. Pim listens and shows which words sounded right, almost right or missed. • Dutch and Belgian Dutch voices.
READY FOR THE DUTCH EXAM • "Leven in Nederland": a reading book in simple A2 Dutch with eight chapters, one for each KNM theme (housing, health, work and income, school, government offices, politics, history and values). • A route from A2 to B1 shows how far you are. • Direct links to the free official practice exams for reading, listening, speaking, writing and KNM. Tick them off as you go. • Pim is an independent study aid. It is not an official exam and is not affiliated with DUO, the IND or the Dutch government.
