ScanFolio: Barcode OCR Scanner

Scan everyday codes and travel documents in one app. ScanFolio reads QR codes, 1D/2D barcodes, boarding-pass barcodes and baggage-tag barcodes. With Plus, recognize printed text, read passport and ID machine-readable zones, and save results in encrypted History.

BARCODE & QR SCANNING • Scan supported barcodes with your camera and view their decoded values. • Read QR Code, PDF417, Aztec, Data Matrix, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, EAN, UPC, Interleaved 2 of 5, ITF-14, Codabar and other supported formats. • Use camera zoom and the torch to help capture codes.

BOARDING PASSES & BAGGAGE TAGS • Decode supported printed and mobile boarding-pass barcodes, including IATA BCBP / 2DBC payloads. • With Plus, view mandatory boarding-pass fields such as passenger name, booking reference and flight legs. • Read supported baggage-tag barcodes and their encoded values.

OCR & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS — PLUS • Capture a camera frame or import a photo to recognize printed text and barcodes. • Detect machine-readable zones (MRZ) with the live camera or from photos. • Parse supported ICAO TD1, TD2 and TD3 MRZ from passports, identity cards and travel documents. • View parsed MRZ fields and check-digit results. • Keep other recognized MRZ-shaped text as raw results when standard parsing does not apply.

QR & BARCODE CREATION • Create and preview basic QR codes from text. • With Plus, generate QR, Aztec, PDF417, Code 128, Code 39, Codabar, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, ITF and ITF-14. • Adjust supported format settings, margins, bar height and human-readable text. • Add an image to a QR code, view codes full screen and save generated images to Photos.

ENCRYPTED HISTORY — PLUS • Save scan text and images for later. • Unlock History with Face ID or your device passcode. • Copy text, open links, share results and generate codes from saved values. • Sync encrypted History through private iCloud storage when available.

BASIC & SCANFOLIO PLUS The app purchase includes live barcode scanning, raw results and basic QR creation. An optional Plus subscription unlocks OCR, MRZ, photo and captured-frame recognition, parsed travel-document details, advanced generation, saving, History, sync and sharing.

SUPPORTED USE & LIMITS Format availability varies by device and iOS version. Recognition depends on image quality, focus and lighting. Boarding-pass parsing covers mandatory BCBP fields only. Baggage-tag scanning reads encoded values; it does not track luggage or retrieve airline records. Scanning and check-digit checks do not verify identity, document authenticity or ticket validity. NFC/ePassport chip reading is not supported.
