Stellar Sequence turns your ideas, notes, and stories into a living star map. Every record becomes a star, and every connection becomes a trail, so you can see how your thoughts unfold over time.

Create separate Star Books for different worlds: a reading chronicle, an original story universe, a collection archive, or a project timeline. Start from a blank book or one of the built-in templates, then choose a nebula palette and a sort rule that fits your content.

Arrange stars on a flat Star Map, or explore them on a 3D Celestial Sphere. Sort by creation date, custom sequence, rank, or title, or switch to manual layout and place each star by hand. Force-directed relayout tidies a crowded map in one tap.

Write rich Star Records with bold text, colors, highlights, and quotes. Attach photos, record audio, and sketch with Apple Pencil or your finger. Text in your photos is recognized on the device and becomes searchable. Give each star a sequence value, a custom date, a rank from one to five, and up to four glyphs from planets, zodiac signs, starlight, and sky symbols, or draw your own glyphs.

Link stars with Star Trails that show sequence, cause and effect, parallel threads, or branches, and add a note to each link. Trail trace highlights everything upstream and downstream of a star, so you can follow a storyline or a chain of decisions from start to finish.

Find anything with the Codex. Search titles, body text, and recognized image text, then narrow results by sequence range, rank, glyph, media type, or linked stars.

Keep your work safe and portable. Export a whole Star Book as a .starseq archive with its layout, links, and media, and protect it with a password if you like. Export a single record as a PDF, a share-ready card image, or a rich text document. Set reminders on any star, and lock the app or individual Star Books with Face ID or Touch ID.

Use Siri and the Shortcuts app to create a new star, open a Star Book, append text to a record, or jump straight to export.
