The Bible Explained

Read. Reflect. Understand.

Antique ivory pages, fine gold frames and medieval initials create a quiet space for scripture, prayer and study.

READ AND SEARCH FOR FREE Choose 45 freely reusable published Bible editions covering 44 reading languages. English WEB and the Romanian Biblia Liberă draft New Testament are included; other editions download for offline reading. Some are historical, drafts or partial Testaments. Coverage and source licenses are shown. Bulgarian currently uses English scripture. Scripture is never AI translated. Search words or references and jump by book, chapter and verse.

PRAYERS WITH SOURCES 150 native traditional prayers in 14 languages, plus verbatim biblical prayer selections from published editions. Your selected prayer language controls daily calendar prayers. Missing native collections are explicitly identified. Historical English Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant prayers are optional. Seven original reflections are separately labeled.

SAINTS, FEASTS AND STUDY Selected Orthodox New Calendar commemorations for all 366 dates, localized in 45 languages. Search 34 feast definitions, including Christmas, Easter/Pascha, Holy Week, Ascension and Pentecost. Choose Orthodox or Western dates. Local observances may differ; this is a devotional guide, not an official church calendar. Search 16 seven-day study plans with 112 readings and reflection questions. Unavailable readings use English with notice.

TWO FREE HOME SCREEN WIDGETS A daily English WEB passage and a separate localized Orthodox saints widget, each small/medium with an antique frame. Tap to open the reading or date. iOS controls refresh.

GO DEEPER WITH PREMIUM • AI explanations and questions for Bible passages, prayers and saint entries. • Christian explanation perspectives and verse-number translation comparison. • Saved readings, private notes, color highlights and personal prayers. • Study/prayer progress, local reminders, a quiet timer and Apple speech. • A biblical atlas with 1,278 sourced places, chapter links and alternative identifications. Pins are proposed or representative locations on a modern map, not historical certainty. No location permission is needed.

CREATE DEVOTIONAL ARTWORK Turn a chosen passage, prayer or your own words into an illuminated manuscript, engraving, watercolor or classical painting. Images are labeled AI artistic interpretations. Premium subscribers can buy a separate one-time pack of 20 image credits. One successful image uses one credit. Failed requests return their credit. Purchased credits never expire and remain usable after Premium ends. Daily safety limits apply. Keep the app open during generation. Save/share images or delete them from your private cloud gallery. Image credits are not included in the Premium subscription.

LANGUAGE AND PRIVACY 45 interface languages, independently selected from Bible/prayer languages; unsupported UI languages use English. No app account, ads or tracking. Your journal stays on your device and can be exported/deleted. After consent, your chosen AI text/preferences go through Cloudflare to OpenAI. Artwork has separate consent; generated images/titles are stored privately on Cloudflare until deleted. Other notes/prayers are never automatically attached.

AI requires internet, may make mistakes and stays separate from scripture. Premium explanations include 60 successful responses/day. No personal API key is needed. Premium renews monthly/yearly unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal in Apple Account settings. Apple displays prices before purchase. Existing journal content remains readable/exportable after expiry.
