IMPORTANT Educational identification only - not a laboratory analysis, an appraisal, or a guarantee of identity. Accuracy varies with lighting, photo quality and the specimen. Diamonds, gems, gold and meteorites are always shown at Low confidence with a caution, because only a lab can confirm them. Always follow local laws and land rules before collecting; collecting is prohibited in US national parks.

Identification requires WhatRock Premium, an auto-renewing subscription; a free trial is offered where eligible.
