1453: Saatteki Tarih

Every time you look at your phone, the clock tells you a year. 1453 shows you what happened in it.

13:26 is 1326: the Ottomans take Bursa. 14:53 is 1453: Constantinople falls. 19:05 is 1905: Einstein's miracle year.

After 20:26 the calendar turns to the future: one of the century's longest solar eclipses in 2027, the transit of Venus in 2117, and the years where your favourite science fiction stories take place.

MADE FOR THE LOCK SCREEN • The year and its event right below the big clock • A one-line summary above the clock • Small and medium widgets for the Home Screen • A bedside clock in StandBy

DIFFERENT EVERY DAY Most years have several events, so the same minute shows something new each day.

1,300+ YEARS, 2,900+ EVENTS Empires, discoveries, inventions and turning points from across world history, written short enough to fit a widget.

IN THE APP • Details and a Wikipedia link for the current year • Which years are coming up in the next few minutes • Pick any time and travel to that year

WORKS OFFLINE, COLLECTS NOTHING All content ships with the app. The widget never goes online, barely touches your battery, and no personal data is collected.

Events are compiled from Wikipedia's year pages and rewritten (CC BY-SA 4.0).
