Accent Letters for Safari puts 682 accented Latin characters from 55 languages in the Safari toolbar, copying a letter to the clipboard on click. It suits anyone who types non-English text on a Mac and does not know the names of diacritics, since searches like "two dots" or "hat" find the right letters. It stands out for working entirely offline, with no network requests, no data collection, and only local storage for favourites.

Accent Letters puts 682 accented characters — drawn from 55 languages — in your Safari toolbar. Click one and it is on your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere.
FIND IT WITHOUT KNOWING ITS NAME Most character pickers assume you know the jargon. This one does not. Search "two dots" and you get ä ë ï ö ü. Search "hat" and you get ô and ǒ. You can also search the letter itself, its Unicode name, or the language that uses it.
FILTER BY LANGUAGE One click narrows 682 letters down to the ones a language actually uses — 134 for Vietnamese, 18 for Polish, 14 for Spanish.
BUILT FOR SPEED • Favourites — star the letters you use often and they stay pinned to the top • Recently copied — the last letters you used, always within reach • Full keyboard navigation • Every letter shows its Unicode code point, its HTML entity and its Windows Alt code
NO ACCOUNT, NO NETWORK, NO TRACKING All 682 letters are bundled inside the extension. It makes no network requests, collects no data, and asks for no access to the pages you browse. Its only permission is local storage, used to remember your favourites on your own Mac.
HOW TO TURN IT ON After installing, open Safari, choose Safari > Settings > Extensions, and tick Accent Letters. The icon then appears in your toolbar.
