Keep what you came for in Safari.

Block Social helps hide distracting sections of social websites and block domains you choose. Enable individual restrictions to suit your needs. All restrictions start turned off.

• Choose restrictions for the YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, Reddit and LinkedIn websites. • Add your own domains, including their subdomains. • Protect access to settings with a separate six-digit PIN or Face ID on a compatible iPhone. • Use light or dark mode and an interface available in 14 languages.

WORKS IN SAFARI Restrictions apply to websites in Safari. They do not block the YouTube, Instagram or other social media apps. If a link opens a separate app, Safari rules do not apply there.

Enable Block Social in Safari extensions. To hide suggested Instagram posts, also enable Block Social Filters and allow access to instagram.com. This filter identifies recommendation labels on your device; page content is not sent to the developer. Some website sections require you to sign in to the corresponding service.

Filtering depends on each website’s layout and available sections. Website changes may require updated rules. Restrictions keep working after you close Block Social. The PIN protects the app’s settings; the iPhone owner can still disable extensions or delete the app.

If you forget your PIN, you can create a new one after fully deleting and reinstalling the app. Restrictions can be restored only if their local copy remains available on the same iPhone; restoration is not guaranteed.
