Cosmic SimLab is an interactive space-simulation laboratory for iPhone and iPad.

Choose an observed-system analogue or an experiment, then orbit the camera and watch the encounter evolve. Isolate stars, diffuse gas, dense star-forming gas, dark matter, and recently formed stellar populations to see how each component responds.

Explore the starting conditions: mass, separation, velocity, impact parameter, disk tilt, and rotation. Advanced Features lets you explore educational approximations for gas pressure, shock heating, radiative cooling, and star formation feedback.

Switch to Disks to explore idealized protoplanetary gas around young single and binary stars. Watch a planet launch spiral wakes, compare a circumbinary disk, or explore a ring wave and seeded gap-edge vortex.

Cosmic SimLab is designed for exploration, not for making fitted predictions of real systems. Each preset is an illustrative analogue that highlights a physical mechanism.
