Lu Lunar Calendar

Lu is a traditional Chinese tear-off calendar that lives on your phone.

The first time you open it each day, yesterday's page tears away and today appears: the solar and lunar dates side by side, the sexagenary stems and branches, the year's animal, the moon phase, and the next solar term.

• Today: tear-off page, lunar date, stems and branches, moon phase, the current solar term and its seasonal notes • Almanac (黃曆 宜忌): each day's traditional "suited" and "avoid" activities, from the 建除 rules, computed on your device. Turn it off in Settings if you don't want it • Month: solar and lunar dates in every cell, plus solar terms, festivals and public holidays • 24 Solar Terms: exact times to the minute, grouped by season • Converter: solar ↔ lunar in both directions, to find a lunar birthday or festival date • Me and My Dates (我, 我的日子): save your own birthday and your family's birthdays, memorial days and anniversaries, lunar or Gregorian. Each year the app finds the date and can remind you. It all stays on your phone • Widgets: lunar date with 宜/忌, moon phase and next solar term on your Lock Screen, Home Screen and in StandBy • Reminders: daily page, new and full moon, the eve of each solar term and festival, and your saved dates • Dark mode. No account. The calendar is computed on your device and works offline. Anonymous usage statistics contain no personal data and can be turned off in Settings.
