Odo: MPG Calculator & Fuel Log

The glovebox logbook for your own car: fuel, MOT and servicing, journeys and the HMRC mileage log, kept on your iPhone.

At the pump — Type any two of litres, price and total and Odo works out the third. Every full tank shows your real mpg, what each mile costs and how it compares with your average. Pick your model and the official figure sits next to yours.

At the garage — Log servicing, tyres, brakes and the MOT with cost and mileage, and keep the history of every repair. Odo Pro adds reminders by date, by miles, or whichever comes first.

On the road — Log business, commuting and private journeys by odometer or by distance, with purpose and recent places. Odo Pro lets you keep more than one car in the garage.

At tax time — Odo totals your business miles at the HMRC approved mileage rates (55p a mile for the first 10,000 miles from 6 April 2026, 25p after) and prints the source and the date it was checked beside the figure. Export the log as a PDF or CSV. It is an editable record, not tax advice: check your own situation with HMRC or an accountant.

What Odo Pro adds — Odo runs on an Odo Pro subscription: yearly with a 7-day free trial, or weekly. Pro gives you the PDF and CSV export of your mileage report, unlimited journeys, more than one car, service reminders and your full spending history. Without a subscription you can still export your own entries as a backup file and a CSV from the subscription screen.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or when the free trial ends. The subscription renews on its own unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, and any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you subscribe.
