PetMeal

Your homemade dog food, checked against the nutrition standard.

Cooking for your dog or feeding raw (BARF)? Enter the ingredients and their weights, and PetMeal checks more than 25 nutrients against the NRC 2006 standard for adult dogs. You see right away what's missing and where the standard's upper limit is exceeded.

WHAT PETMEAL CALCULATES - Recipe balance: protein, fat, minerals, vitamins and fatty acids - Calcium to phosphorus ratio - The dose of a vitamin-mineral supplement, set by the calcium-to-phosphorus ratio - Salmon oil: how much goes into the pot, or into each dog's bowl separately - Raw and cooked food — with nutrient losses from cooking and the broth - Each dog's energy needs and daily portion, from weight and activity

FROM POT TO FREEZER - How much to cook for the number of days you choose - Batches with a date, a code and how many days they'll last - Bag labels: the dog's name, portion, meal number, oil dose, date and storage conditions — for a label printer (62 mm tape) or A4 sheets

YOUR DATA We don't send the data you enter in the app, and we have no access to it. No account, no sign-in. Save a backup to a file whenever you like.

WHO IT'S FOR For people with one dog or several who cook or feed raw, pack food into portions for the freezer — and want to know rather than guess.

Available in English and Polish.

IMPORTANT PetMeal calculates nutrient balance against feeding standards for adult dogs. It doesn't replace advice from a veterinarian. Puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs and dogs with medical conditions have different needs.
