Pomoya: Focus Timer & Pet

Pomoya is a focus timer with a tiny pixel pet. Put your phone down and start focusing, and your pet studies right beside you. Make it to the end, and you celebrate together.

■ Focus with your phone down • Turn the ring to set how long you'll focus, up to 120 minutes • Repeat mode keeps focus and breaks going back to back • Switch to another app while focusing and it pauses; stay away too long and the focus ends. Turning off the screen or taking a call is fine • On days you need other apps, turn on "Allow other apps". Time spent in other apps is noted in your history • See the time left on your lock screen and in notifications • Turn your phone sideways for Desk mode, a big clock for your desk

■ A pet that grows as you focus • Choose your first pet: a cat, bunny, puppy or chick • Focus time becomes care energy, which you spend on food and play • Your pet grows through four stages from baby to adult, and your bond deepens the longer you're together • Buy toys, cozy spots, backgrounds, hats, glasses and outfits in the shop to make each pet your own • Save the moment your pet grows up as a growth card and show it off

■ Focus together • Create or join a group to see who's focusing right now and who's taking a break • See rankings by focus time for today, this week and this month • Others only see your nickname, focus status and pet. Your email is never shown to anyone

■ Your history at a glance • See how long you focused by day, week and month • Create categories like study or exercise and tell them apart by color

■ Pick up where you left off • Sign in to keep your pets and history in your account • Uses the same pet, energy and history as Pomoya for computers (Windows · Mac). The computer app is currently in Korean only • If you're focusing on your computer, you'll see it on your phone too

■ Quiet and safe • No ads while you focus. Watch one ad to the end to turn ads off for 3 hours • No purchases. Care energy only comes from focusing • We only receive the email you sign in with and what you create in the app. No access to your contacts, photos or location. Ads are shown by Google AdMob, and you choose whether to allow tracking for personalized ads • Delete your account and everything on the server anytime in Settings

Available in English and Korean. The app follows your device language, and you can change it in Settings → Language.
