RIDEOLOGY THE APP KX2 delivers even greater tuning capability and convenience with new functions and an updated user interface.

The app significantly enhances tuning capabilities by adding new preset maps that complement the engine tuning function. With intuitive operation, riders can easily change mapping characteristics. For simple engine tuning, riders can intuitively select from five preconfigured Preset Maps to suit their desired settings. For more advanced tuning, riders can edit fuel volume and ignition timing settings to match conditions and personal preferences.

The app also allows riders to configure traction control and launch control settings. Each item can be adjusted and saved individually, making it easy to fine-tune setups for different off-road tracks and riding conditions.

Using data from the machine’s GPS, the Trip Log function allows riders to create track maps and analyse their riding performance. Sections can be defined within the app. Riders can review machine data including gear position, engine rpm, coolant temperature and lap times immediately after riding. GPS and machine data can be displayed on track maps, trend graphs and numerical information screens, making it easy to analyse riding performance and machine conditions.

Trip Logs can also be shared online, allowing riders to reference logs published by other KX users. They can find riders who use the same model or have ridden the same course and gain useful riding tips.

The real-time Monitoring function allows riders to check machine status at any time. Available information includes gear position, engine rpm, throttle position, coolant temperature, intake air temperature, battery voltage, selected Power Mode, traction control mode and Launch Control Mode status. When combined with tuning and Trip Log functions, monitoring contributes to more efficient setup and maintenance work.

Maintenance management has also been enhanced. Engine running hours can be checked directly within the app and maintenance items can be managed based on ECU operating hours. This helps riders track maintenance timing and replacement intervals more accurately, supporting optimal machine condition management. A notification feature helps riders maintain their motorcycle in peak condition.

Additional support features include an Information Guide for engine tuning and Suspension Setup Advice. These functions provide useful reference information for riders who are less familiar with tuning and maintenance, helping them perform setup adjustments smoothly and efficiently.
