Sonic turns the words you want to learn into flashcards and helps you remember them for good.

MAKE A SET IN SECONDS • Import by link: paste a link to a public card set and Sonic brings in every term and definition. • Paste text: a list of words with their translations becomes cards, one pair per line, split by a dash, colon, comma or tab. • Check everything in the preview, fix or remove cards, then save. • Or type words yourself, one card at a time.

FIVE WAYS TO STUDY • Flashcards: flip each card and mark it Know or Still learning. The next round brings back only the cards you are still learning. • Practice: short rounds that start with multiple choice or true or false and move on to written answers as you improve. • Test: choose how many questions and which kinds, and check yourself before an exam. • Match: pair each term with its definition to clear the board, and race your best time. • Review: spaced repetition brings each card back just before you would forget it.

LEARN EVERY DAY The Learn tab gathers the cards due today from all your sets, plus the number of new cards per day you choose. Answer them, and Sonic schedules the next review for you.

HEAR EVERY WORD Tap a word to hear it spoken. Sonic recognizes the language of each side and reads it aloud with the voices on your iPhone, in many languages.
