Thrift Scanner AI - FlipMath

Standing in a thrift store aisle with an item in your hand? FlipMath tells you in seconds whether there is profit in it at this tag price.

Photograph the item, then its label or maker's mark. FlipMath works out what it is: the brand or maker, model or pattern, era and materials, and reads the mark for you. Then you see a rough AI estimate of what it resells for, with a range, how sure it is and why. For a confident identification, it also looks up prices found online on resale sites, with links to the sources.

Type the tag price. FlipMath subtracts your marketplace fees, shipping and sales tax, and gives you a verdict: Buy, Maybe or Skip, with the math shown. The sale price starts from the prices found online, or from the estimate when none are found, and you can change it to what you know it sells for. The fees, shipping costs and your own profit rules are all yours to set.

TRIP MODE Start a trip at each store. Every scan joins a running list with what you spent and the profit you expect.

INVENTORY Tap Bought and the item goes into your inventory with its cost. Mark it listed and sold, and see the profit and how many days it took to sell.

LISTINGS IN ONE TAP Generate a title, description, item specifics and condition notes for anything you bought, then copy each part into your listing.

DASHBOARD Monthly spend, revenue and profit, your sell-through rate, average days to sell, and your best categories.

HONEST NUMBERS The AI estimate is rough and can be wrong, and the app says how sure it is. Prices found online can be wrong or out of date, and asking prices are not sales. You can always type your own sale price. What an item sells for depends on its real condition, the market and you.

PRIVACY After you agree, the photos you scan go through our server to OpenAI to identify the item. Our server does not keep them. To check recent prices, OpenAI searches the web with words it writes about the item, never your photos or your name. A listing request sends the item's details, your condition notes and the marketplace, never your prices. Your scans, photos, trips, inventory, prices and profit settings are saved on your iPhone. You can delete your data at any time in Settings.

SUBSCRIPTION FlipMath needs a subscription to scan items: monthly, or yearly with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. It renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
