ClickToPlay.video

ClickToPlay makes srt:// links clickable on your Mac. It's built for broadcast and streaming engineers who work with SRT, a protocol created, open-sourced, and maintained by Haivision.

Click an srt:// link in Mail, Slack, a chat or a runbook, and ClickToPlay opens the stream in your media player. It lives in the menu bar, remembers recent streams, and stays out of the way until you need it. No embedded media stack, no Dock icon.

Features • Opens srt:// links from any app • Uses your installed player, not an embedded one • Recent streams in the menu bar • Optional single-instance mode, so new streams reuse one player window • Default SRT latency setting for lab and contribution paths • Launch at login • Test Stream window for quick checks

Requires VLC media player, installed separately.

ClickToPlay is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Haivision, the SRT Alliance, or VideoLAN. SRT is a trademark of Haivision. VLC is a trademark of VideoLAN.
